This week saw the launch of the Department of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment (2025): The National Coastal Management Programme of South Africa: 2025-2030. Providing a bold roadmap to safeguard South Africa’s 3592 km coastline it outlines a national vision for South Africa’s coastlines.
