Volatility is nothing new to Mozambicans. It is as old as the country’s history since Portugal released its grip on the country in 1891 when it handed over administration of the country to the Mozambique Company, a private business, and the next 80 years were spent fighting for Independence which it gained in 1975. The last few years have been particularly trying for its citizens, but this year the tension has been profound in the run up to the October election process. There are a few rays of hope though…
