Namibia’s election process on 27 November comes at the end of what has been a very busy year for its government, business community, and its peoples. The year has provided significant opportunity to iron out some of the issues to position the country in a favourable light moving forward. A lot of focus has been on cementing relationships with African neighbours and other members of the BRICS and to build on the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) trade policy that aims to increase intra-African trade and promote sustainable development.
