No Out of Court Settlement Yet for African Penguin Argument

Did you know there's an African Penguin & Seabird Sanctuary at Gansbaai? It provides rehabilitative care to diseased, displaced, injured, oiled and abandoned marine birds. It is funded by the Dyer Island Conservation Trust.

The Minister of the Department of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment (DFFE) doesn’t want to fight the survival of African Penguins argument in court. As it stands it seems he won’t have much choice because this is a long-standing and complicated matter where there are many opposing views probably best resolved in an impartial environment.
