South African Researchers Contribute to the State of the Climate in 2023 Report

The extreme weather and snow in KwaZulu Natal this past weekend is a strong reminder that climate change is real. Recently the much-anticipated State of the Climate in 2023 report was released by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). South Africa’s research community contributed to the Southern Ocean section of the chapter on Antarctica and the Southern Ocean.
