The 6th Southern African Marine Linefish Symposium held during August at Mpekweni Beach Resort in the Eastern Cape, is one of those events on the calendar that ticks the box for anyone with an interest in linefish. This year’s event was no different, but a welcome feature was exceptional student participation which bodes well for the future of linefish.
