A joint operation between Crime Intelligence and The Hawks led to the arrest of three men and the confiscation of 672kg of cocaine that was hidden behind false wooden boards on a truck headed for Cape Town.

Africa’s South Atlantic shores could be vulnerable to drug trafficking and other maritime crimes because there are no cooperative regional agreements on security matters between Atlantic littoral states.
