TotalEnergies EP South Africa (TEEPSA) has been granted environmental authorisation for exploratory drilling in blocks 5/6/7, located 60km off the coast between Cape Town and Cape Agulhas. But the multi-energy company major faces another stumbling block. Civil society organisations, The Green Connection and Natural Justice, have launched a new joint legal challenge against the decision.
