The CEO of Premier Fishing and Brands has been found guilty of negligence following an investigation into an unauthorised transfer of millions of Rands from the company’s bank account to an account of an unknown third party.
In mid-November 2023, African Equity Empowerment Industries (AEEI) reported to its shareholders that its subsidiary company had suffered an alleged cybercrime when USD820000 (about R15 million) was fraudulently transferred out of its account and into an account of an unknown third party.
