A team of engineers and technology boffins at Nelson Mandela University’s Faculty of Engineering, the Built Environment and Technology, have designed and developed a research platform able to measure factors affecting ocean pollution. The research platform takes the form of a remote-controlled marine glider able to gather data to a depth of 200 metres below the surface.
