It is time to nominate achievers in the field of science, engineering and technology for the 26th National Science and Technology Forum (NSTF) South32 Awards. New electronic (digital) technologies are making it difficult for emerging countries to catch up. You can read more here about South Africa’s attendance at the 78th UN General Assembly Science Summit in New York a couple of months ago and its contribution to 4IR and Artifical Intelligence (AI) development.

The National Science and Technology Forum (NSTF) is calling for nominations for the 26th NSTF-South32 Awards. These prestigious awards focus on science, engineering and technology (SET) and innovation in South Africa (SA). South32, a globally diversified mining and metals company with interests in Australia, Southern Africa and South America, is the co-branding sponsor for the past nine years.

Please be aware there are two stages to the process. The first is to nominate achievers online by 14 December 2023. Fully completed nomination documents then have to be submitted by the second deadline of 6 March 2024.
