The second of three Multi Mission Inshore Patrol Vessels for the South African Navy has been officially named in Durban. One of its functions is to to respond to illegal fishing.

The SAS King Shaka Zulu is the second of a trio of three multi mission inshore patrol vessel newbuilds. It was officially named and handed over to the SA Navy last week.
