Nod for London Trial of Tuna Bond Scandal Case

A High Court judge has ruled that the London trial of the Mozambique tuna bond scandal against Swiss banking group, Credit Suisse and others, will proceed.

Reuters reports that the USD2 billion “tuna bond” scandal case against Swiss banking group Credit Suisse will begin on 2 October in London, UK. Last week High Court judge Robin Knowles said it was “not just, proportionate or necessary to strike out the complex case which encompasses 11 sets of proceedings” three months before the start of a trial.
