Driving towards Simon’s Town on the corner of Main and Dido Valley Roads, once stood a fish oil refining factory called Marine Oil Refiners of Africa Ltd (MOL). Located at Dido Valley, it once provided an income to thousands of fishermen along the South African and Namibian coastline, from the modest line fisherman to the industrial pioneers of the pelagic industry.
