Marine Science Symposium Underway

South Africa's Marine Protected Areas. The target is to increase the country's protected estate by 0.5% per annum and achieve about 28% of land and sea under protection by 2036.

The 17th Southern African Marine Science Symposium is currently underway in Durban and there is a very full programme to get through this week. The Minister was there to address the programme and had something to say about ocean-based seismic surveys…
