Exporters of fish and fish products need to be aware of changes that could begin to impact the seafood supply chain internationally in the future.

At the Seafood Expo Global in Barcelona, Spain, at the end of April, the United Nations Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO) and the Sustainable Fisheries Partnership (SFP) announced a new collaboration to adopt the standards used in FishSource to establish unique, standardised IDs for the world’s major fisheries.
