Remember those years when chokka squid fishing was poor, and you struggled to understand why. Well, a new research paper has recently been published which identifies the cause.

The paper titled “Unravelling links between squid catch variations and biophysical mechanisms in South African waters,” is published on the Science Direct website. The study provides the first long-term analysis of chokka squid catch variations in relation to biophysical indicators in South African waters.
