A Cabinet meeting last week has resulted in the nod being given to South Africa’s negotiating position for COP26, the adoption of the Climate Change Bill, and the country’s updated Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) to global efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and mitigate climate change.
