Africa Fund for Sub-Saharan Aquaculture Projects Soon to be Launched

The business of aquaculture in sub-Saharan Africa is set to be ramped up as some USD50 million becomes available in the fourth quarter of 2021 to support projects.

Aqua-Spark, a global investment fund based in Utrecht, The Netherlands, is launching an Africa Fund to fund aquaculture projects across the continent. It estimates the fund will grow to USD300 million over the next six to eight years and has identified more than 300 companies that could benefit from this support.
