Environmental justice and human rights groups have had just about enough of attempts by corporations and the government to override public sentiment in their quest for profit at the expense of the environment. They say they are very concerned about the preaching of commitment to climate change but the government does the opposite. Furthermore, that coastal fishing communities’ rights are being completely ignored in the push for oil and gas and beach mining along the coast. This has now reached a point where a tribunal is being set up to address this.
