Massive Drug Haul off Fishing Vessel near Saldanha

A massive cocaine bust involving a fishing vessel took place off the coast of Saldanha last night. This is just the most recent case which raises the question of whether there is a shift to South Africa as an increasingly used route?

A total of 973 blocks of compressed cocaine worth an estimated R583 million were found in three compartments of the vessel.
