Providing food security is an imperative for Mozambique. Nearly 80% of its population are unable to afford an adequate diet. Furthermore, regional aquaculture businesses satisfy just 6% of the total demand for fish across the southern Africa region. But this could change if there is more funding like that which was recently provided to a Mozambican tilapia fish farm.
