Today’s interception of a young Cape Town man driving a green hearse with a body bag stuffed with 5441 lobster tails, is the perfect example of a blatant fisheries crime.
According to a Facebook post, the 23-year old man from Mitchell’s Plain tried his best to look shocked as members of the Gordons Bay Security team unzipped the body bag. His resolve soon crumbled though followed by tears of defeat in his “innocent until proven guilty eyes”.
