Namibia. Funding for First Large-Scale Kelp Farm

A privately-owned Namibian company is soon to begin developing the world’s first large-scale kelp farm. Work is well underway to finalise the USD60-million funding to be provided over a five year period.

This is according to a recent announcement by investment manager, Climate Fund Managers (CFM), and Eos Capital.

Climate Investor Two managed by CFM is partnering with Kelp Blue Namibia (Pty) Ltd and the Namibia Infrastructure Development and Investment Fund which is managed by Eos Capital.
