Social media has been abuzz with reports of sightings of Chinese vessels in South African waters. This prompted comment from the Minister of Environment, Forestry and Fisheries who denied they were there for any other reason than just passing by. But its not the first time and the excuses are the same… the Chinese will take the gap in our waters if allowed to.
