Shark cage diving operations are in the news again ever since four bronze whaler sharks were killed in front of a group of tourists in late February. Although it is currently legal to capture and kill bronze whaler sharks, since then a new campaign ‘Shark Attack,’ has been launched to improve the status of threatened sharks and rays in South Africa.

The campaign is being led by Wildoceans and made possible by the Shark Conservation Fund, to improve the status of threatened sharks and rays in South Africa. Local and international heavyweight ocean experts have pledged their support for the campaign.
