Aquaculture. Coega’s New Fish Farm Zone Progresses

Coega Industrial Development Zone in the Eastern Cape is only about 18 months away from accepting its first fish farming customer. And its dangling the line to investors because it has already completed all the required environmental impact assessments, an expense they will not have to incur.

The information is contained in a 323-page report dated March 2017 and was completed by Port Elizabeth environmental consultants, Ethical Exchange Sustainability Services (Pty) Ltd.

Local News reports say the new aquaculture zone will be ready for business by August 2021.
