FRAP 2020 is delayed. New Minister of Environment, Forestry and Fisheries, Barbara Creecy, said she would listen to the concerns of the commercial fishing industry. That she clearly has is evident by the withdrawal of several Government Gazette notices this week.
Now 12 commercial fishing sectors will have to wait a bit longer for the announcement of the new date for applications to be lodged for long term rights.
