Another Deal. APG Acquires Majority Shareholding in Pioneer Fishing

Pioneer Fishing is set to become the first almost fully black-owned and controlled fishing company in South Africa once the deal with the African Pioneer Group receives the various regulatory approvals.

The Port-Elizabeth-based African Pioneer Group (APG) is in the final stages of acquiring Suiderland Development Corporation’s 50% shareholding in Pioneer Fishing. APG already is a 40% shareholder in Pioneer Fishing.
