The noose is tightening on the use of labour brokers. As many readers will be aware, employment laws have, over the last few years, sought to increase protection to employees who are regarded as vulnerable because they are employed in terms of so-called atypical types of employment arrangements. This includes, for instance, casual employees, fixed-term contract employees and employees whose services are provided via labour brokers.
